SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
IMG Citrus is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead and develop a high-performing, cross-functional team—including sales analysts, customer service representatives, sales operations planners, logistics staff, and quality control personnel. This leadership role is critical to fostering strong communication across departments and ensuring operational alignment company-wide.
Based at our Vero Beach packinghouse, the Head of Sales is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of both domestic and import citrus programs, delivering efficiency, precision, and service excellence across the supply chain.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver and collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, produce-driven environment. Success in this role requires a strong blend of operational discipline, team leadership, and cross-functional coordination to drive performance and continuous improvement.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Lead and develop a cross-functional team including sales analysts, customer service, sales operations planners, logistics, and quality control.
Foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
Oversee end-to-end execution of domestic and import citrus programs.
Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment aligned with retail customer expectations.
Partner with Business Development to manage transitions and seasonal execution.
Maintain real-time visibility into inventory positions and market conditions to support agile, data-informed decision-making.
Lead short-term purchasing and spot market sales as needed to manage supply-demand fluctuations and optimize program performance.
Cross-Functional Alignment
Serve as liaison between sales, business development, packinghouse, procurement, and harvesting teams.
Drive alignment and information flow across departments.
Design, implement, and oversee processes that ensure timely order execution and strong team collaboration.
Monitor KPIs and lead regular performance reviews.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on metrics and feedback.
Strategic Sales Support
Partner with the Business Development team to align on customer account strategies and seasonal goals.
Leverage insights from sales analytics and market trends to support data-driven decisions and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40+ hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.
