Administrative
Assist Sales Management in all administrative duties.
Prepare and compose correspondence, documents, reports, memoranda and departmental information as related to the customers.
Upkeep and maintain customer database
Prepare daily inventory sheet, recap of orders
Maintain Filing.
Administrative support for claim processing.
Administrative support to shipping and logistics.
Administrative support as requested by the Sales Manager or by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Order Management
Create, edit, update and delete orders as necessary.
Key in quotes and volume proposals into customers quote sheets.
Retrieve order information and add to program
Coordinate with shipping and confirm shipment or shorts
Quality Improvement:
Seek new and innovative methods, procedures and tools to improve efficiency and quality of sales and service.
Implement improvement ideas and assess for higher levels of customer satisfaction.
Regularly evaluate customer satisfaction.
Promote teamwork, communicate and provide for open channels of communication.
Support IMGC Mission Statement and philosophy.
Direct feedback to Sales Management on current market trends and conditions.
Participate in Sales meetings.
Keep abreast of field knowledge by reading periodicals, journals or articles related to sales.
Other
All other duties assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school graduate or GED equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.
One or more years in a sales or sales support position. Horticultural, citrus, agri-business, or other related experience is preferred.
Customer oriented with a proven record of troubleshooting, problem solving and customer focus utilizing phone skills.
Communication skills, able to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a professional positive manner.
Written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively communicate with a wide variety of customers.
Energetic, ability to work in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines and maintain a positive attitude.
Ability to effectively work with other departments.
Demonstrated proficiency in multiple software applications, Microsoft Windows and Excel preferred.
Spreadsheet and some graphic software application desired.
Valid Driver's License with clean MVR.
WORK HOURS & ENVIRONMENT
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40+ hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
